So how did it happen that it's already the end of August? Time flies so fast, summer just started. But think how much has happened during the summer, lots of new and exciting things. And now autumn is almost here, and it's going to be so cozy :) the other day it had gotten colder and I was wearing tights again under the skirt that I've been able to wear barefoot during the summer, it felt nice to settle in a bit, get dressed a bit and be warm, cuddly and safe.
This summer has really been different, I have dared to try 1800 in a whole new way and it has been so educational and scary and exciting and fun! Thank you for all the encouragement and support you give!!! :) It is so exciting to sew and pack the orders and send them out to you in the world, I like to think about what exciting events the garments will be part of, it is so wonderful that you like them! :) When I design for 1800 I usually make garments that I think are missing in stores, garments that I myself want to wear. That is what made me design a swimsuit this summer, I wanted nice swimsuits that don't ride up my butt and swimsuits that you are comfortable and dressed in, in a minimalist style (think color block). Then when I found the sequin fabric, I made a bikini out of it, it was so fun, and it sparkles so nicely in the sun. and the transparent bag, it was also created during the summer and has been my faithful companion. :)
Now in the fall, my idea is that more products will be designed and put up on the website, one by one. It will be so exciting!
